The District Blindness Control Society, Ongole is semi government Non Profitable Organization started in 1993 to prevent & control blindness in the Backward Prakasam District in Andhra Pradesh state,India.With District Collector & Magistrate as Chairman and District Ophthalmic Surgeon as District Programme Manager we are performing the following programmes.
1.) Estimating the Magnitude of Blindness .
2) Co-ordinating the Private & Public participation in Blindness Control Programmes.
3.)financing the NGO Hospitals to promote more cataract surgeries.
